Dinner Tonight: Steak Biscuits With Apple Slaw

Flank steak makes an easy meal. Marinate the meat ahead with your favorite store-bought marinade for a tastier flavor. Apple slaw adds a sweet and crunchy accompaniment. Serve with raw vegetables and dip.

STEAK BISCUITS WITH APPLE SLAW

½ large sweet pepper, thinly sliced
1 medium apple, cored, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small sweet onion, peeled and thinly sliced
½ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
½ cup sour cream
1 can large biscuits
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, peeled and sliced
1 pound flank steak
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steak Biscuits With Apple Slaw is tasty without a big hassle. Use store-bought marinade to flavor the flank steak, and buy biscuits that come in a can.

In a medium bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Refrigerate until serving.

Cook biscuits according to package directions.

Heat olive oil in a skillet, add onion and sauté. Add steak and top with Worcestershire sauce. Brown on both sides and cook until done.

Thinly slice the steak. Slice biscuits. Top with sautéed onion, slaw and steak. Serves 6.
