Huff was a star at Irving and then in college at Texas. Once he was drafted by the struggling Raiders, Huff dropped off the radar. However, Huff has posted three solid seasons in Oakland, starting all 16 games in 2006 and 2007. Huff had 12 tackles through the first five games in 2008 before being moved to a reserve role.

Williams, a mammoth offensive tackle, quietly turned himself into a star at Texas. But he weighed 375 pounds at his first training camp in Buffalo and suddenly his size was an issue. Still, Williams became a three-year starter with the Bills. Injuries eventually short-circuited his career after he went through training camp with Jacksonville in 2006.

Webb wasn't the type of player who spoke in outrageous tones. He simply showed up for work every day and drove people into the ground. Webb was an all-Southwest Conference pick at Texas A&M. Then, Webb went to the Dolphins and played in seven straight Pro Bowls from 1990 to 1996. Webb stayed with the Dolphins 11 years and then played two more with Cincinnati.

Brown couldn't have landed in a better situation than the Los Angeles Raiders. At that time, the Raiders had Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson and first-year coach Mike Shanahan. Brown spent 16 years with the franchise and had 1,070 receptions for 14,734 yards and 99 touchdowns. He caught his 100th touchdown pass during his final season in Tampa Bay in 2004.

Childress was a star in high school and he became an All-American at Texas A&M. On draft day, the Houston Oilers didn't waste a single minute of their allotted time and grabbed Childress to help their ailing pass rush. Childress had at least eight sacks for three straight years and then notched 13 sacks in 1992. He played for the Oilers for 11 seasons and had 75.5 sacks. Childress finished his career with the Cowboys in 1996.

Smith was a rookie starter with the Chargers in 1983 and played 10 years, all in San Diego. The outside linebacker retired with 26.5 career sacks and had 15 interceptions.

Bryant played three-plus seasons but had his career cut short when he sustained nerve damage in his right shoulder against the Oilers on Nov. 6, 1977.
