12:45 PM CDT on Saturday, July 4, 2009
Authorities are looking for the son of a 66-year-old woman found strangled in her Pleasant Grove home Friday night, Dallas police said.
Ola Mae Green was found about 8:30 p.m. in her house in the 10500 block of Muskogee Drive when her ex-husband arrived to take her to a family gathering.
When Green didn’t answer the phone, her ex-husband entered the home and found her dead on the ground. There was no sign of forced entry, police said.
Police are trying to locate the victim’s son, who was described as a person of interest in the case.
The victim’s 2008 Kia Spectra was taken from the home and later found abandoned on Congress Avenue.
