Broderick Gamble admits he and his family are scared, following the incident.

Arlington police say they just won't stand for racial intimidation.

They're handing out flyers to find out who may have spray-painted racial slurs on a garage on Ross Trail.

There are the bold red letters. They say "kill," "die" and then the n-word.

This is the home of Broderick Gamble who has been working to rebuild this house after it burned down two years ago.

He says his family has been harassed in this predominately white neighborhood since then.

Gamble admits he is scared.

He considers this a direct threat on his life and the lives of his family.

"This is our home. We're not going to let anybody drive us away, at all. That's what they're wanting, but it's not going to happen," he said.

On Tuesday, police arrested 66-year-old Grace Head for a disturbance she created at Gamle's home.

They say she was yelling racial slurs and jumping on Gamble's car.

She was also charged for assaulting Gamble's finance.

Police say Head has not been identified as a suspect in this hate crime at this time.

But they are beefing up patrols here on Ross Trail.

They believe more than one person may be involved.
