GRAPEVINE — Another day, another early morning ATM theft attempt — this time in Grapevine near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Thieves hit an Exxon convenience store in the 1700 block of William D. Tate Avenue around 4 a.m. Wednesday as a clerk watched helplessly.

Police pursued the getaway vehicle and arrested one suspect; several others got away.

This is the fourth ATM theft or attempt in North Texas over the past several days.

So far this year, there have been 42 ATM hits in Dallas alone.
