Man's body found on Dallas elementary campus
10:02 PM CDT on Sunday, May 11, 2008
DALLAS - A passerby discovered a body on a Dallas elementary school campus early Sunday morning.
Police were called after Terry Nash, 49, was found dead at SS Conner Elementary. Authorities said Nash was killed after someone ran over him with a car and apparently took off. Tire tracks could be seen near Nash's body.
Skid marks and tire tracks just some of the possible clues the killers left behind.....
A woman, who did not want to be identified, said she saw a group of men about 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in the parking lot near the field where Nash's body was discovered.
"I think there were probably three that I saw," she said.
The witness said she overheard a conversation between the three people that sounded like an argument.
"[They were] angry, very angry with each other, lots of curse words," she said.
The argument became so intense she said she was going to call 911.
"When I was about to make that decision, [they] came out of the parking lot and drove off," she said.
Hours later, Nash's body was found in the field, which was located only a block away from his home.
"Nobody deserves to be laid out like that," the witness said.
Investigators have no suspects and no motive. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dallas Police Department.
