Doctor accused in wife's 2004 death

A doctor has been accused the 2004 death of his wife, which had initially been reported as a suicide, Farmers Branch police said Friday.
Dr. Timothy Henry Werner, 55, was arrested Thursday without incident and remained in custody Friday, police said.
He is accused in the shooting death of his wife Sara Werner, police said.
According to a paid obituary that ran in The Dallas Morning News, Ms. Werner, 47, died on April 19, 2004, from a long-standing disease in Farmers Branch. She was a pediatric ICU nurse and a hospice nurse.
