Suspects named in grisly Richardson murder case
03:18 PM CDT on Sunday, June 15, 2008
RICHARDSON — Richardson police have named the three suspects in the grisly murder of a woman at a home on a quiet residential street Saturday morning.
Police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Perlich said the three men — James Matisi, 51; Eric Ziegler, 33; and Timothy Jones, 44 — are being held at the Richardson City Jail on murder charges. Bond is set at $100,000 each.
The name of the murder victim was still not yet released pending positive identification from the Collin County Medical Examiner's office.
On Saturday morning, a boy believed to be 10 years old called 911 to report a disturbance at a house in the 5700 block of Kensington Drive . When police arrived, they found the woman's body. Police declined to say precisely what they found in the home, other than to say it was a grisly crime scene.
Officers have yet to elaborate on what happened to her.
The boy was taken into protective custody.
