GRAND PRAIRIE - An investigation is underway after an elementary student told her principal a masked man touched her inappropriately while she waited for a school bus Monday morning, Grand Prairie police said.

The ten-year-old girl, who attends West Elementary School in Grand Prairie, said a man wearing a white ski mask, a black shirt and pants approached her at a bus stop at Camp Wisdom Road and Sand River. She said the man then groped her and touched her inappropriately over her clothes, police said. As the bus approached, the man fled.

The principal informed the Grand Prairie Police Department, who are investigating the incident.

West Elementary School and AISD have sent out warning letters detailing the incident.
