DALLAS - Police arrested a band teacher Tuesday and charged him with the sexual assault of a child.

Calvin Beckton is a teacher at Boude Storey Middle School in South Dallas. He is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old female student in the band hall.

Few details have been released in relation to the incident and the arrest.
