CLEBURNE — Cleburne police said they now strongly believe that a body found near a creek is that of a woman who has been missing for weeks.
Virginia Burns, 67, was last seen at an apartment complex on October 9.
The body was found Saturday just five blocks away in the woods near Buffalo Creek. Police said they believe it is Burns because of "certain information."
The corpse is badly decomposed, so they still need a positive identification from the medical examiner.
