Silver Alert canceled for Trophy Club woman
03:08 PM CST on Tuesday, November 3, 2009
TROPHY CLUB — Trophy Club police have canceled a Silver Alert that was issued for 65-year-old Nancy Gonzales.
Gonzales, who has early stages of Alzheimer's disease and may be suffering from dementia, left her home on Monday, prompting concern from family members.
Police Commander Lee Delk said the woman's husband called at midafternoon Tuesday to let officials know that Gonzales returned home on her own and was in good condition. An officer verified the information.
Police said Gonzales had been stopped for a traffic violation on Interstate 45 in Dallas County, but deputies were not aware of the Silver Alert.
