The chase ended when the allegedly stolen car ended up in the front yard of a Plano residence.

PLANO — A man wanted for a parole violation led police on a chase early Friday morning.

It started in Allen around 1 a.m. when police tried to pull over 27-year-old David Montelongo.

Police said Montelongo was driving a stolen car when he took off into Plano and crashed in the yard of a residence on Warwick Drive near Alma Drive.

The suspect was nabbed after a brief foot chase. He was not injured.
