Breakdown

How Rangers hitters fared: Only Jarrod Saltalamacchia had more than one hit – he had two singles to center – and Andruw Jones homered to snap an 0-for-17 slump. Chris Davis had an infield single to extend his hitting streak to a modest four games, but that qualifies as improvement.

How Rangers pitchers fared: Coming off his first loss of the season, Scott Feldman allowed three hits in five innings. He was efficient with his pitches, needing 57 to get 15 outs, but the outing technically does not count as a quality start.
