While most of the Rangers had their traditional uniforms hanging in their lockers, David Murphy had a pair with a different tint – they were green and gold. Murphy was given a pair of his Baylor uniforms from 2001, his freshman year with the Bears. "I definitely wanted them," said Murphy. "I haven't really thought about what I'm going to do with them. Maybe I'll frame one of them. More than anything, it's fun to look back, personally." Murphy already had the jerseys from his junior season, when he was a first team All-American. But he got a call from Blake Harris, an equipment manager from Murphy's playing days, who had both uniforms. He gave them to Murphy last week. "He called me and told me he had them and was going to drop them off when he had a chance," Murphy said. "It's cool to have them back. It will be pretty cool to show my kids some day."
