When all was said and done, the Texas Rangers were a game closer to the Los Angels Angels than when the three-game series began. After losing the opener, the Rangers rebounded to win two straight, including Wednesday night's 9-7 victory at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, to pull within 1/2 game of the Angels in the AL West.
