Josh Hamilton will not return to Arlington until Sunday, at the earliest. General manager Jon Daniels said Hamilton, who is recovering from a torn abdominal muscle, would play another rehab game for Triple-A Oklahoma. He had hoped to be back tonight. Hamilton went 1-for-7 with a single and a strikeout on Wednesday and was 0-for-4 with a strikeout on Thursday. On Friday, Hamilton was 0-for-5 with a strikeout. "We'd like to have him back and playing, but we just want to make sure we do it right," Daniels said. "We want to give him a fair amount of time. He's been out a month, so it's kind of like the beginning of spring training." Manager Ron Washington agreed, saying Hamilton needed to have better at-bats before rejoining the team. "Josh hasn't seen live pitching, and it's not as easy as playing two or four games," Washington said. "We just want him to give us a chance when he comes around."
