In going back and forth with CBS' Verne Lundquist this week, I was reminded he has been in the catbird seat for some of the top moments in recent sports history. Lundquist, a former radio voice of the Cowboys who doubled as a Channel 8 anchor, remained with the Cowboys through the 1983 season, when he moved full time to CBS.
