Dallas Cowboys rookie Asaph Schwapp has been released from jail after his arrest Friday at Love Field for possession of a throwing star and knife, authorities said. Schwapp, 22, was boarding a plane when he was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Friday on a charge of possession of a weapon in a prohibited place, police said. Schwapp was released from the Dallas County Jail seven hours later on a $1,500 bond, jail officials said. The Cowboys signed Schwapp, an undrafted free-agent fullback from Notre Dame, last month.
