IRVING – Today will be special for the Barber family. Cowboys running back Marion Barber will see his brother, Texans safety Dominique Barber, across the line of scrimmage for the first time in an NFL game.

Marion Barber probably won't have to worry about his little brother keeping him out of the end zone. Marion is expected to play the first three quarters against the Texans' first-team defense. Dominique, a rookie, may not play until late.

"The fact that you're at the highest level of football and to be able to be on the field at the same time as my brother, I'd be speechless," Dominique said.

Marion and Dominique Barber played together at Minnesota in 2004. Marion started his NFL career with the Cowboys in 2005 while Dominique was just getting started with the Golden Gophers. Dominique led Minnesota in tackles last year and became a sixth-round draft pick.

"We talk every day, and we have a great relationship," Dominique Barber said. "I'm excited to see him on Friday."
