Funeral services, fund set up for Bastrop Co. crash victims

Funeral services have been set for the four people, including two children, who were killed in a crash near Bastrop Tuesday night. A fund has also been set up to pay for funeral expenses and medical bills.
Cara Crisler, 27, and two of her daughters -- 8 and 4 -- died after the Ford they were traveling in collided with a Jeep Cherokee on Highway 304. Kevin Harris and his 6-year-old daughter, who were in the Ford, survived.
Department of Public Safety officials say the Jeep, driven by Darrell Avery, crossed into oncoming traffic. Avery was also killed. His funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Lee County.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. for Crisler and her daughters Kelsey and Talena Harris at Second Baptist Church in La Grange.
