Texas State University police are searching for a suspect in an attempted sexual assault.

The incident happened Friday night around 9:45 in TSU's Bobcat Stadium parking lot.

The victim came to the lot with friends to pick up a car left there.

She was approached by a thin man with dark complexion who asked for directions to Austin. The victim turned to leave, when the suspect came up behind her and pulled down her bathing suit, touching her inappropriately. He fled in a gold Ford Taurus.

The University Police Department sent out an e-mail warning to students, staff and faculty about the incident.
