Services pending for fallen Central Texas soldier

Funeral services are pending for a Central Texas soldier killed in Iraq.
Army Specialist Jeffrey Nichols, 21, of Granite Shoals died Thursday when his vehicle hit an explosive device.
He leaves behind a wife and a 1 1/2-year-old son.
Nichols was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 89th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Fort Polk, La.
His body is expected to arrive in Marble Falls on Wednesday.
