Police: Men who fired on officer involved in tire thefts

Pflugerville police Tuesday released composite sketches of three men wanted for firing on an officer investigating a stolen SUV.

Detectives say the officer was on Hanging Rock Circle last week when three men got out of the stolen SUV and ran. One of them pulled out a 9mm handgun and fired toward the officer, but he was not hit.
Detectives believe the three men were involved in stealing tires and after-market wheels and stole the SUV on April 11 to use as a transport vehicle.
Here are descriptions of the men police are searching for:

The first man is Hispanic with a heavy build -- but not fat. He's about 17 to 20 years old, 5'5" to 5'9" tall with some facial hair.
The second man is also Hispanic with a slim build, 17 to 20 years old and 5'5" to 5'9" tall, with some facial hair and bad teeth.
The third man is Hispanic with a slim build, 16 to 18 years old, 5'5" to 5'9" tall and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
