Smoke damages Ballet Austin building
10:23 AM CDT on Wednesday, May 7, 2008
An overnight fire caused extensive smoke damage to Ballet Austin's Central Austin building.
Firefighters say flames were kept to one room at the building near 30th and Guadalupe, but the blaze did cause quite a bit of smoke damage.
The building is more than 100 years old and actually served as an Austin firehouse at one time.
Firefighters are still looking for what caused the fire.
No one was in the building at the time.
