Man arrested in construction worker's traffic death

Austin police say they've made an arrest in the death of a construction worker killed when an SUV drove through a construction site and hit and man.

David Delacerda, 30, has been taken into custody.
Investigators say the crash happened at a worksite early Wednesday morning in the 11400 block of South I-35. Fontino Cortes-Cruz, 35, was killed, and investigators say the SUV took off. No one else was injured.
Hays County sheriff's investigators later found a dark-colored SUV outside of Kyle that had been burned.
Police say Delacerda burned himself in the process and was treated at a San Antonio hospital. He is now in the Bexar County Jail.
