Former House Speaker arrested

A former giant in Texas politics was arrested Thursday night on charges of drunk driving.
Former House Speaker Gibson "Gib" Lewis
Former Speaker of the House Gib Lewis was the first person to be elected to the position five times.
Lewis was arrested at Fourth Street and Lavaca around 11:30 Thursday night.
He was taken to the Travis County jail, and, according to the sheriff's web site, he is no longer in custody.
