Crash causes I-35 headaches in South Austin
05:52 PM CDT on Thursday, July 24, 2008
A crash on Interstate 35 in South Austin caused major headaches for drivers Thursday afternoon.
Police say a bus and a semi-truck crashed in the northbound lanes near Onion Creek Parkway.
The semi was damaged on its side while the bus had damage to the front.
The accident caused an oil and fuel spill which forced the shutdown of north lanes of I-35 for a few hours. The mess was blamed on slick lanes from an afternoon downpour.
No one was injured.
