Fire broke out at an engineering and research building at the University of Texas' J.J. Pickle campus in North Austin Monday morning.

Austin fire officials say the fire broke out after 8 a.m. after a type of electric plating was left on a stove.
Sprinklers immediately contained the blaze. Firefighters sprayed a powdered-chemical as a precaution, but they say the plating material was not hazardous.
About 10 to 15 people inside the building evacuated. No one was hurt.
