Bat found near Westlake high tests positive for rabies

A bat found outside Westlake High School in early October has tested positive for rabies.
The animal was spotted Wednesday afternoon on the south side of the campus near the bus lane.
Eanes ISD officials say there have been no reports of any students coming in contact with the bat.
But they are asking anyone who may have touched the bat to call the Travis County Health and Human Services Department at 972-5555.
