TV: 3-foot ordinance goes into effect Monday
A new city ordinance aimed at keeping cyclists safe goes into effect Monday. The City Council recently passed an ordinance that requires motorists to give a three-foot clearance when passing a bicyclist, runner, pedestrian or someone in a wheelchair.

Police are asking for help finding a six-foot long monitor lizard that got loose in Central East Austin.

* TV: Neighbors rescue Central Texas family trapped by flooding
Neighbors came to the rescue of a family trapped inside a home by overnight flooding in the Highland Lakes area. The heavy rain flooded streets in the Comanche Rancherias neighborhood near Lake LBJ.
