Missouri City to use imminent domain to take over Quail Valley Golf Course

Missouri City will use the law of eminent domain to take possession of the Quail Valley Golf Course.
The city wants the course because it fears its owner will turn it into tract housing.
The city says it will build a municipal park on the property.
The owners offered to sell the course, but not a price the city was willing to pay.
