Rosenthal's ex-secretary 'retires'
01:49 AM CDT on Friday, March 28, 2008
The former executive secretary for former Harris County District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal has retired.
Kerry Stevens’ last day on the job is officially Friday. But 11 News learned that she took advantage of some vacation time and is already out of the DA’s office.
Romantic e-mails between Stevens and Rosenthal were uncovered in December by an 11 News investigation.
Rosenthal later admitted to having an affair with Stevens.
Stevens decided to retire after new DA Ken Magidson reassigned Stevens last week to another division and cut her annual pay.
