The Reverend Jesse Jackson is in Houston to host the 2^nd Annual Houston Energy Symposium.

Jackson will reportedly focus attention on the racial and gender disparities within the oil and gas industry.

Jackson looked at 50 of the top corporations in Houston and claims that 29 of the businesses have no minorities on the board of directors.

Jackson is encouraging those corporations to become more diversified.
