HOUSTON – Get ready for some more hot weather Friday because it’s not over yet. But there is some good news in store for Mother’s Day.

“Yesterday we made the low 90’s with low humidity, well today we’re going to make the low 90’s with much higher humidity and so it’s going to feel quite uncomfortable” 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.

Paul says there is a 10 percent chance for rain late this evening.

He says you can expect more high temperatures and humidity for Saturday, but a front is expected to come through that night and cool things off for Mother’s Day.

“There will be a high of 84 on Sunday and a low of 58 degrees Monday morning," Paul said.
