HOUSTON -- Police are investigating a bizarre murder where the victim’s bloody body was found wrapped in a sheet outside a north Houston motel room early this morning.

Police are investigating a bizarre murder where the victim’s bloody body was found wrapped in a sheet outside a north Houston motel room early this morning.

Houston police said the unidentified man was found dead outside the Tropical Motel in the 4800 block of North Shepherd at about 2 a.m.

A resident of the motel, which offers daily and weekly rates, found the body behind one of the buildings.

Police had not been able to determine how the man was killed, but scene reports indicate that a blood trail was found from one of the motel rooms to where the body was discovered.
