HOUSTON—A family was in mourning Sunday after a 6-year-old boy drowned in an apartment complex swimming pool.

Authorities were called to the La Jolla on the Lake apartments in the 9900 block of Windmill Saturday night.

That’s in southeast Houston.

By the time paramedics got there, the boy was dead.

Houston police are investigating the incident.
