Prairie dog pups born at Houston Zoo

HOUSTON -- Break out the cigars: The Houston Zoo is home to three new babies.

The puppies emerge from the burrow.
The black-tailed prairie dogs were born about six weeks ago in the McGovern Children's Zoo. They're just now coming out of the burrow.
Zoo officials said the best time to visit the puppies is late-morning or mid- to late-afternoon.
