09:44 PM CDT on Monday, May 12, 2008
HOUSTON -- A fight broke out inside a west Houston fire station Monday afternoon that saw one person taken to the hospital. But the firefighters were not the ones involved in the altercation.
Authorities said two people arrived at Hoston Fire Station No. 32 on the westside in separate cars; both jumped out of the vehicles and went into the firehouse. That is when the two got into a physical altercation said officials.
Firefighters stepped in to break up the fight and pulled the two people out of the firehouse. One of the people in the fight was hurt bad enough that he had to be taken to the hospital.
There is no confirmation is anyone was arrested because of the fight. It appears that none of the firefighters was injured.
