HOUSTON -- A gruesome-looking 18-wheeler accident had traffic blocked on the Southwest Freeway Monday afternoon.

Luckily, everyone involved walked away unhurt.

The crash occurred on Highway 59 at Fondren.

Somehow, a grey car became lodged beneath the trailer of a big rig.

The entire driver’s side of the car was crunched up underneath the truck.

Rescue teams were called to the scene but dismissed when everyone got out OK.

It was unclear what caused the crash.
