The weather around Southeast Texas becomes a little more uncertain and unpredictable as a strong upper system deepens west of Texas and then begins to move eastward.

This system keeps our atmosphere primed for showers and thunderstorms, some that could become severe. At issue is the timing of the storms and the potential for heavy rains. Most of the bad weather will move east by Friday.
