Police: Same man behind Sugar Land, Houston bank robberies

SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Police believe the same man is behind a series of bank robberies in Sugar Land and Houston.

The suspect has been dubbed the "Red-gloved bandit" because he wore gloves. Sugar Land Police said the suspect was wearing those gloves and a baseball cap in robberies at the Compass Bank on University Boulevard and the IBC Bank on Highway 6.
He is about 30 years old and stands 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He weighs about 220 to 240 pounds and has an athletic build.
