Look out for severe weather today
11:37 PM CDT on Wednesday, May 14, 2008
An active weather day is expected around Southeast Texas as an strong jet stream, a slow moving cold front and abundant Gulf moisture combine. That will give the area a threat of locally heavy rains and possible severe weather.
That severe weather may include high winds, large hail and possible tornadoes. The severe threat will end once the cold front moves southward into the Gulf by Thursday night with Friday and the weekend looking pretty good weather wise.
