PASADENA, Texas—As gas prices rise, fuel is becoming an increasingly tempting target for thieves.

Pasadena police are still looking for crooks who stole 500 gallons of diesel this weekend.

They stole it from a construction site in the 4700 block of Beltway 8.

The thieves cut through several locks at the site to get to a tank, which had been filled with gas on Friday.

Nothing else was taken.
