HOUSTON -- For the third time this week, a motorcyclist has died in the Houston area in a crash.

A 20-year-old man was killed late Wednesday night after hitting a pole near Fountainview and Highway 59.

The man died at the hospital.

The motorcyclist's death is the third one this week in the Houston area. One died after hitting an 18-wheeler, and another was killed on the South Loop East after a vehicle slammed into him.
