Scattered showers set for Thursday
08:53 AM CDT on Thursday, May 22, 2008
HOUSTON -- Low pressure to the west will send a disturbance through the Houston area on Thursday that will bring the area scattered showers.
"A gusty south wind will be coming off of the Gulf, so a small craft advisory is in effect through tonight," 11 News meteorologist David Paul said. "The south wind will gust to 25 and above on the coast."
Scattered showers will fall off and on throughout the day.
Temperatures were the warmest yet for a morning this year, and the high is 91.
There's a 30 percent chance of rain at rush hour, and showers could be heavy at times.
