Sugar Land bust nets $1 M in cocaine

SUGAR LAND, Texas—Authorities in Fort Bend County have seized 52 pounds of cocaine valued at more than $1 million.
The 22 bundles of cocaine, agents say, were hidden in a specially manufactured compartment of the vehicle which was parked at a Joe’s Crab Shack in Sugar Land.
The two women inside the car, Tarsila Villarreal and San Juanita Garcia, were taken into custody and charged with felony drug possession.
A 14-year-old boy in the backseat will be turned over to other family members.
