Teen stabbed in the head multiple times

HOUSTON -- A 16-year-old girl was stabbed several times in the head Friday afternoon in a home in east Harris County. Investigators said the attacker was a 16-year-old boy who was not in custody.
The injured teen was stabbed four times in the head, said investigators. She was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital by ground ambulance and was expected to survive.
The case is being investigated by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Sex Crimes Unit.
The attack happened at a home across the street from Castle Glory Middle School, in the 14000 block of Oleoke.
