Legal clinics available for hurricane victims who need help

GALVESTON, Texas—Victims of Hurricane Ike who are looking for legal help have a new resource to rely on.
Lone Star Legal Aid is kicking off free weekly legal help clinics for families and people who need assistance with Ike-related FEMA appeals and other hurricane legal matters.
All services are free for those who are eligible.
Those who plan on attending the clinics are advised to bring all related documents, such as FEMA paperwork and insurance policy information, with them.
In Houston, the clinics will be held Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1415 Fannin.
In Galveston, the clinics will be on Wednesdays at 1420 31st Street from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
