The exit ramp from the Gulf Freeway to eastbound 610 in southeast Houston is closed.

Earlier on Wednesday, a truck pulling a bulldozer tried to go under the overpass when the bulldozer cab clipped the bridge and fell onto the road.

As a result of the collision, one inbound or northbound lane has been closed while the TxDOT officials inspect the bridge.

They’re trying to determine if the bridge suffered structural damage.

TxDOT officials hope to open up all the lanes early Wednesday evening.
